This was fun! The Curators! were called upon to provide our expertise in vintage film equipment, by sourcing a Steenbeck and then staging it as a working prop for Asif Kapadia’s visionary new documentary 2073. The Steenbeck had to be a working prop, and so Howard not only supervised its use, but also laced it up each day for filming, as well as training the actor who would use it on camera in the film.

We also provided a number of additional items of set dressing from our archive of vintage film editing equipment, including an Acmade numbering machine, synchroniser and cans of film.
